Frequently asked questions

Start here for clear answers about how the service behaves in everyday use.

01

What can I enter in the search box?

You can enter a song title, artist, topic, or a complete YouTube watch, Shorts, mobile, music, or youtu.be URL. A title plus artist usually produces the most precise search results.

02

Which MP3 quality should I choose?

Choose 128 kbps for smaller spoken-audio files, 256 kbps for a practical balance, or 320 kbps when you prefer the highest available MP3 setting. Conversion cannot add detail that is absent from the original audio.

03

Where will my MP3 be saved?

Your browser controls the save location. Most desktop browsers use a Downloads folder. On mobile, look in the browser download manager or the Files app. Your browser may ask you to choose a location.

04

Why can’t a video be converted?

Private, live, upcoming, region-restricted, age-restricted, unavailable, or unusually long media may not be processed. Temporary source and network limits can also cause a conversion to fail.

05

Do I need an account or application?

No. The tool works in a modern browser and does not require an MP3Juice account, browser extension, or installed application.

06

Are my searches stored?

A short recent-search list may be kept only in your browser so you can reuse it. Search suggestions are requested from Google when you type. Read the Privacy Policy for complete details.

07

Can I download any online video?

No. Download only media you own, material in the public domain, or content whose rights holder has given you permission. You are responsible for following applicable law and the source platform’s terms.

08

Why does 320 kbps not always sound better?

A 320 kbps output describes the encoded file, not the quality of the original upload. If the source is compressed or low quality, converting it at a higher bitrate cannot restore missing sound information.
